Eskimo Callboy at Wacken Festival.

Jul 072017

Eskimo Callboy has finally released the official video for “MC Thunder”, pulled from their most recent album The Scene. The video for “MC Thunder” is a refreshing follow-up from their last video for “The Scene” in that it is more out of the box and story-like. Regardless of their differences, both visual tapes are very well produced and are fantastic additions to songs they represent.

The name “MC Thunder”, in of itself, brings on thoughts of what type of person fulfills this title, and the trailer reveals an appropriate candidate. The video includes the five scenes pictured in each of the five amusing teasers they released over the previous two weeks. Though it does not feature any band members, the video is a perfect fit for the song and brings the lyrical story to life in a fittingly comedic way. The modern metal six piece from Castrop Rauxel, have kicked up a lot of dust not only in their native Germany, but also internationally. Their latest two albums landed in the German Top Ten Album Charts, “We Are The Mess” (2014) on #8 and “Crystals” (2015) on #6, they toured Europe with the likes of Callejon, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch and Asking Alexandria and played high profile festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, Open Flair and Nova Rock. Moreover, ESKIMO CALLBOY already toured countries such as Japan, Russia, China and South Africa and played a full US tour with Deuce and Kottonmouth Kings.
