The ninth edition of FFT Slopestyle is behind us and we should tip our hats off to the audience of over 1000 people, who arrived and stayed even despite the bad weather and enjoyed the whole race including the sunny finals!
But back to the beginning. Friday’s program included only trainings. The weather conditions were ideal and riders were slowly gathering in the FFT Bike Park. Some of them were quite surprised by the height of the jumps, but in the end all of present guys took courage and started learning the track.
Saturday started also with trainings and by 12:00 there was a kids pumptrack competition. It was unfortunately finished earlier than expected due to rain. The rain was troubling the whole contest for quite a long time, so there organisers kept entertaining the visitors with fan competitions and program including cancan dancers, cowboys and Indians and introduction of the riders, who were supposed to compete in finals.
Around 15:00 the FFT Crew started working really hard on making the track as dry as possible so the finals could take place. Everything worked out well and the bikers could finally compete. All od the riders performed really insane tricks including the double backflip by Petr Andreev, who crashed terrible, however he kept riding and in the end won the best trick with barspin to tailwhip. The qualification and finals were joined together, which made the race a bit shorter, however the audience really enjoyed the whole show and the guys performed some pretty crazy tricks.
After announcing the results, everybody moved to nearby club Popráč, for a traditional afterparty with DJ LU2 including dance show of the TS FLOW group.
