HO Speed Racing dominated the competition at the last Nascar Peak stop in Guadalajara Jalisco.
With a good race pace Ruben Rovelo won his second victory in the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, crossing the finish line in the first place in what was the fourth date of the series.
Rovelo made a great competition after jumping on the starting grid from the Top 5, after registering the fourth fastest time in qualifying held on Saturday. Already for the competition, the native of Mexico City made a very intelligent race, waiting for the ideal moment to surpass rivals and with it to visualize on top of the podium again.
"I am very happy with this win, it is the second of the year for the whole team and my sponsors and that has me very excited. We did a good job as a team and personally we took advantage of the spaces to take a valuable victory, "mentioned Ruben.
It should be noted that in addition to Rovelo, his team at HO Speed Racing, Homero Richards and Santiago Tovar finished on the podium in second and third place, respectively.
A mechanical problem left out of the fight for the victory to Rubén Pardo "In the race we were in second place fighting for the victory with my teammates, unfortunately I had a problem with the clutch of my car and that left me out of the fight. It was frustrating for me because I knew we had a great car to fight and luckily we did not get much, "said Pardo.
Sadly Hugo Oliveras had a strike in one of his tires, situation that left him off the podium finishing the race in sixth place of the race.
