In This Moment are heading out on their first tour of 2018. Dubbed the “Witching Hour” tour named after one of Ritual’s singles, the band will be joined on the road by P.O.D, New Years Day, and Ded. The bewitching Maria Brink will be bringing her mysterious stage show on the road, complete with ominous band members and dance performers, intense light shows and props to rival a broadway musical. The Witching Hour tour is set to cover a huge portion of the U.S. and Canada before taking the band to Europe this summer for some of the most highly acclaimed festivals on the circuit.
The band’s sixth studio album “Ritual” was released in 2017 and was the their first album since the departure of drummer Tom Hane. New blood Kent Diimmel stepped in to fill the roll in what lead to one of 2017’s biggest albums of the year, including huge success with the first single “Oh Lord” and an appearance at the Loudwire Music Awards with Judas Priest’s Rob Halford. In This Moment chose to explore deeper themes on Ritual with a more southern and blues inspired sound and lyrical themes on spiritual experimentation and religion.
