Nigerian Girls Photoshoot

Feb 042019

You have seen the new Monster Girl Team for Nigeria but now is your opportunity to get to know the girls who will be at the events and bringing you all things Monster Girl in 2019. Jade, Winifred, and Esther….

Tell us your name and where do you live? What is your experience so far of being a Monster Girl?

I’m Jade and I live in Lagos, Nigeria! My experience so far being a Monster Girl has been exciting. It’s like getting paid for being yourself and doing the things you love doing on a regular day.

We saw you did a photoshoot in Johannesburg! What was that like?

The photoshoot in Johannesburg was quite different compared to what I am used to, maybe because it was my first time there, I loved the environment though, especially at an event like Gymkhana GRiD. I’ve never seen racing and drifting like that except online and on TV.

You were VIP guests at GRiD, what did you like most about the event?

I loved the showcase of all the different drift cars the most, wow! I was really excited to see the drivers and cars I’ve only seen in magazines and on TV in real life!

Tell us a little more about yourself, hobbies, interests etc?

Fun fact about me, I love to skate! I learned how to skate at age 9. My other interests include - trying out new food from different parts of the world, karaoke, I listen to rock music mostly, adventures, traveling and of course partying with friends

What are you looking forward to most this year?

I’m hoping I get to travel more this year within Nigeria and different countries with my Monster Energy family.

What is your name and where do you live? Tell us about your first Monster Girl experience?

I’m Winifred Wealth, I live in Lagos, Nigeria. About the photoshoot in Joburg - it was one of the most exciting experiences I’ve ever had to date. It was all fun shooting with the amazing Monster Energy team and I was very comfortable and felt at home the whole time...I felt at ease with the two amazing women Natalie and Kim, My coordinator Mr. Frederick and my teammates. We did a bikini shoot and I was really amazed at how much coordination and detail was put into the shoots. My favorite part of the shoot was the drift car shoot at Gymkhana GRiD. It was my first time doing a shoot like that so I loved every minute of it...Really I can't wait for the next opportunity to travel and shoot. All smiles.

That sounds amazing, tell us about GRiD?

GRiD was mind-blowing. I love the precision the athletes have. The crowd was very enthusiastic about it. I mean it was a scorching day in the sun but hardly anybody cared. They just wanted to see every bit of the event.

Tell us about yourself and some fun facts!

About Myself: I love to travel. I like to take on new tasks and challenges, I also consider myself a bit of a bookworm, and I’m also really into music. I'm very much interested in fashion on a business level and into a bit of video production as well. (I own a media production company here in Nigeria.)

What are your ambitions for the future?

I’m looking forward to a lot of traveling and building my brand to a world-class standard and structure.

Tell us about yourself and your favourite Monster experience:

My name is Esther Olabayo, I live in Maryland Lagos state, Nigeria. My experience so far as a Monster Girl has been amazing and really positive. It’s given me the opportunity to meet some beautiful and exciting people and interact and build new social networks. Being a Monster Girl has influenced my perception of brand identity, and how to engage and interact with the public and fans of the brand. I love the exposure I get from being a Monster Girl, it’s not rigid and traveling of course is a great perk.

What was an experience that stands out to you?

A highlight for me was when we had to shoot at GRiD. It was one of my favorite moments especially when we had to shoot with Luke Woodhams drift car. The shoot at the pool was awesome too, I had great synergy with the team overall.

Sounds great, tell us your favourite part of the event?

Hmm, I loved the mix of tension and ambiance before the races started. The course was awesome, I loved the racing, and seeing Ken Block do his thing in real life was insane. I’ve never seen so much tire smoke!

How would you describe yourself?

I like to describe myself as fun, energetic, spontaneous, and creative. I’m quite impulsive, and I love to try new things. I like to break the norm. My interests are networking with new people, surfing the internet, traveling, and exploring new places and cities. I am a sucker for new.

What are you looking forward to in 2019?

I’m looking forward to breaking new ground, exploring my creativity, making my ideas a reality and of course, all the exciting events with the Monster Energy team this year.
