Very bad luck for the young Belgian who had a really good race in Lommel a few weeks back. As a throwback, we share with you one of his laps at the dusty sand of Lommel.
The 18-year-old Yamaha driver was selected for the first time by National Coach Johan Boonen for the Motocross of Nations. The Nations take place on October 7 in Red Bud (US). Geerts (MX2) would battle on the side of Clément Desalle (MXGP) and Jeremy Van Horebeek (Open) for the world title.
But the participation of the young talent is potentially in danger. It is not yet clear how long Geerts will be out with his collarbone fracture. Hopefully the young talented Belgian will be back on track soon.
Get well soon Jago!
