Finishing the Season Strong, Anderson Worked Her Magic Against a Tough Course

From the start speed was an issue. After the first rail section it became difficult for many of the girls to clear the jumps. Lacking enough momentum to take them through the course, if each trick wasn't landed perfect, speed was lost and runs were compromised. Such was the case for Anderson who after a slight mishap was forced to scrub her first run.

With a couple set up tricks on the upper rails she glided into a clean boardslide 270 on the tall flat rail before racing towards the jump line. Floating one of the best frontside 720's in the game, Anderson landed flat based and then flew into a classic backside 540 Indy. Having secured her speed, she launched two of the biggest airs of the competition, a Cab 720 tail grab followed by a switch backside 540. In the end, her flawless execution and steady style shot her all the way to second place missing the gold by just a single point.

"I'm so hyped to put down a run and get second place," said Anderson. "It was a changing course and I'm just thankful to land a decent run."
