Josh Sheehan takes out FMX Best Trick At Monster Energy AUS-X Open in Sydney

Nov 142017

The top FMX and SX riders traveled to Australia last weekend for the Monster Energy AUS-X Open in Sydney and the final round of the country’s growing Supercross series. The largest action sports competition in the southern hemisphere went down over two epic nights of racing to a sold out Qudos Bank Arena crowd!

Husqvarna imports Dean Wilson and Jason Anderson took out Saturday and Sunday nights SX1 Main Event wins after battling it out with local Aussie hero and Monster Energy athlete, Dan Reardon.

The FMX Best Trick competition was a spectacle for fans, with Josh Sheehan stealing the show with a jaw dropping Double Backflip, a Monster Energy AUS-X Open first,  walking away with the Gold medal.

“Carmichael took the crown to become the ultimate two-stroke showdown champion.”

The weekend's second feature event saw The GOAT Ricky Carmichael and Ronnie Mac go head to head in the ultimate two-stroke showdown. After plenty of pre-race banter and elbow-banging action on track, Carmichael took the crown to become the ultimate two-stroke showdown champion.
