Last Saturday Atlas Arena held the first this year and the 47th in KSW history MMA gala. There were emotions, surprises and there was Monster Energy. See the highlights and feel like you were there.
From 2 PM fans had the chance to meet, talk and take pictures with the fighters. Monster Girls were also in the Fan Zone. For the ones who wanted to test their strength we have organized a boxer contest.
In the opening fight the crowd watched Dawid Gralka and Paweł Polityło. For both of them it was the second KSW appearance. Polityło TKO’ed Gralek in the second round.
Next Maciej Kazieczko pointed out Bartłomiej Kopera and in the only women fight that evening Karolina Owczarz won with Marta Chojnoska.
Marcin Wrzosek won with Krzysztof Kłaczek and in the fifth fight of the evening Aleksandar Ilić brutally knocked out Damian Janikowski in the third round.
Satoshi Ishii in his KSW debut won with Fernando Rodrigues Jr. via split decision and Norman Parke, after a tough battle, won with Borys Mańkowski via unanimous decision.
The co-main event and the second heavyweight fight in Łódź was between the former strongman world champion, Mariusz Pudzianowski and the gold medalist of the Olympic Games in Beijing in weightlifting, Szymon Kołecki. An injury suffered by Pudzianowski due to a Kolecki takedown brought an end to this contest with Kołecki winning.
The main event and heavyweight title fight was between the defending Philip De Fries and light heavyweight champ Tomasz Narkun. Fries defeated Narkun via unanimous decision.
