Lacuna Coil at Etna Comics 2019

Tell us something about your relation to the videogames' world...

- Since I was a child I was attracted to video games, it all started with Commodore, Atari Arcades and the first game consoles. Then, it all continued with the different Game Boys, XBoxes and Playstations. During the summer it was a must to stop by an amusment arcades! I'm attracted by all the types of videogames: the plot, the graphics, the music... they project me into an alternative world in which I feel perfectly comfortable.

What are your favorite games?

- I tell you my top 3. I've always likd Final Fantasy VII, the first Silent Hill (and the first three Resident Evil), although I must say that the last Assassin's Creed Odyssey, literally stole my heart. I also have an obsession with Pokémon Go, I played it in 2016, but I uninstalled it shortly after. I played it again recently and ... I couldn't get my smartphone down.

How was your experience at Etna comics?

- Wonderful! I love all the comics & games festivals, you can really feel a different atmosphere It's great to see so many young people (and also not so young) gathered together in such a fun environment.
It was particularly exciting to meet so many Lacuna Coil fans who came here to see us (even from far away) and to listen to our story.

What are your new projects? What's cooking?

- We are about to end the cycle of our 20th anniversary and we look forward to release, on October 11th,  BLACK ANIMA, our last album. We will leave for a month long tour in the USA in September/October and then we will continue in Europe until December.


Lacuna Coil and Monster, tell us how this partnership developed...

- The collaboration with Monster makes us very happy because it is a brand which cares a lot about music. We knew already Francesca Dascola, she deals with the relationships between brand and artists; we trusted each other because our ideas and theirs  meet very well. There are many projects scheduled and we look forward to achieve all of them.
