Last Hope & Deez Nuts smash Mixtape 5 in Sofia

Last Hope started the year with an awesome show at Sofia‘s Mixtape 5 club together with the Australian band Deez Nuts.

The local hardcore legends are working on a new album and that‘s why their first gig of the year is now, but we‘re all sure it‘s going to be worth it.

Thursday night started perfect with the Bulgarian band Pokoi who immediately lifted the spirits with their raw energy. The lead singer came down from the stage a couple of times and sang some of the songs together with the crowd.

At 9:30 pm Last Hope took the stage. The hall was full and the guys hit us directly with their well-known heavy sound. The atmosphere was boiling and everyone was trying to get to Alex‘s mic so they sing-along. The small hall of the club is ideal for this kind of music and it creates a real friendly feeling. Many were jumping from the stage in the hands of their friends, doing circle-pits and having fun without restrictions.

But that wasn‘t all. The headliners of the night Deez Nuts hit the stage and everyone went wild. The Australians mentioned that they too are coming up with a new album and gave us a taste of what‘s to come with a couple of songs that definitely left us anxious for more.
