Are you looking the coolest e-sports event concept? If yes, then look no further! We introduce you to a semi-annual  MängudeÖÖ [Gaming Night] event, that brings video games between cinema walls.

During the 2017 fall event held in last Saturday, both experienced gamers as well as a people getting acquainted for the first time with the medium where guaranteed to find things to do. Guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest foreign and local games, compete at large cinema screen in various different tournaments, such as CS: GO and Tekken 7, and take part in lectures that reveal the tedium of the game industry or discover the virtual reality.

First of all, we need to mention fighting games as they are the synonymous of MängudeÖÖ, that’s because events roots that dating back to 2010 can be found in this medium. This time, the matches where held in Tekken's francize 7th edition, which just hit the shelfs. All that on a magnificently large cinema screen with the commentator's spicy speech on the background. Pretty rad or what?


This time the highlight of the night was the CS: GO tournament, where total of 75 different teams had been participating during the month in 4 qualifying rounds, of which four best redeemed their seats in the main event. The whole Baltics was represented among the finalists, two teams from Estonia and one from Latvia and Lithuania, who’s fight could be seen besides large cinema screen also in online live streaming. The winners of this fierce battle were the Lithuanians, for whom it was a kind of revenge, because only two weeks before Estonians traveled to GameOn in Lithuania and won the CS: GO tournament there.
