Metaldays 2017 lit up Tolmin

2017’s edition of the festival was happening between 23rd and 29th of July and it had 3 different stages plus a mini stage at the beach. In the list of over 100 bands, coming to Tolmin from all over the Globe, we witnessed great performances of Angelus Apartida, For I Am King, Suicidal Angels and Crisix.

Metaldays truly is a special festival. There are plenty of activities happening at the beach during the daytime where people can join them, watch them or simply enjoy free time by the cold river, while waiting for the beginning of live music performances.

There are always many of surprises and this year there was a true metal wedding on the beach stage while at the newcomers stage one of the many performers proposed his wife-to-be. Of course she said "Yes"!

Concerts were running until 1 o' clock and sometimes even longer, but the party had to continue, where DJ's secured legit after parties with the best metal classics you can think of.

One of the most visited places at the festival is so called Slovenian village, place with wide choice of different food for every taste. Vegan, meat, sour, spicy, sweet, you name it - all served on recycling materials. Yep, Metaldays goes hand in hand with nature and we are keeping it clean.

Whoever said metal people are only into black color? This year's festival brought as much colors as possible with all types of rubber toys and other things people brought and used in the river. It's all about fun and metal music. Don't miss it in 2018!
