The volcanic islands of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria set a dramatic backdrop for a new perspective of skate edit, the first of its kind filmed on FPV. Blending the skills of a talented mix of international skaters and futuristic drone filming, MIRADOR takes us on a journey around the island with a fresh context.
Concept creator, Marco Savino, wanted to capture the striking scenery of the island, from sand dunes to mountains through the eyes of skateboarders, sharing a different angle to your classic skate edit. The line-up of skaters featured Brazilian Gabriel Fortunado, Slovakian Marek Zaprazny and South African skater Dlamini Dlamini and the trio invited local skater Carlos Cardenosa to join them to bomb hills, discover spots and explore the dramatic terrain.
