In the men’s field, Sweden’s Henrik Harlaut—defending X Games gold medalist—continued his winning ways by taking the top spot. Following Henrik closely in 3rd was Switzerland’s Luca Schuler. On the women’s side Sweden and Monster Energy kept the top spot with Emma Dahlstrom winning, with her MEC teammate and Swiss national Giulia Tanno coming in 2nd.

“It was really sick,” Tanno said of the event. “Chile is beautiful and the vibes here are insane. People are so stoked about skiing and it makes us even more stoked to be here. [The podium] gives me a good feeling for the rest of the season.”

This is the first World Cup of the 2016-17 contest season, with stops in Colorado, California, France and Switzerland to come this winter. The next Big Air contests, at least on the men’s side, is the Sosh City Big Air in Annecy, France.
