Unreal conditions, the most creative feature of the year, and the world’s best snowboarders and skiers were on the menu at Suzuki Nine Royals in sunny Watles, South Tyrol. With this crazy castle feature created by the Schneestern and Nine Royals crew, there was always going to be some new tricks stomped and the riders stepped it up through the week during the sunrise and sunset sessions every day.

In the end, it was a total sweep of the podium for Monster Energy riders with 4 riders on the podiums on comp day and a huge celebration at the gala awards night, where the invited photographers from their week showcased their incredible shots from the week.

Watch the best highlights from the inspiring Nine Royals right here:

Jamie Anderson was the only girl to send it on comp day and took the top honours after a week of stomping massive tricks, and even managed to land her first ever Cab 900 tailgrab over the big jump. "We had incredible weather, a crazy awesome feature and a lot of riding. Holy, Nine Royals what a fun session.” Jamie chatted to us after the event wrapped.

“This week was super fun; we’re all friends and everyone was sending it. It’s also nice to reclaim the top position, like last year.” Said Sebbe “This week I also learned the frontside butter to switch back double cork and I can’t wait to bring it into contests next season.”

“It was a crazy week with some tricky conditions and a lot of girls crashing. It was sick to see the boys riding too. They’re always pushing themselves and trying hard, so it’s really motivating. I even tried a cork 10 earlier in the week and though I didn’t land it, I’ll definitely be trying it again it next year.”
