PAPA ROACH ANNOUNCE 2019 TOUR PLANS FOR NEW ALBUM “WHO DO YOU TRUST?”

Dec 062018

Papa Roach have their targets locked on 2019! With their hugely anticipated tenth studio album slated release on January 18, 2019 release via Eleven Seven Music, the rock quartet have announced a special intimate run of shows in the band’s home state of California to commemorate the release and get back to their roots. In addition to this, Papa Roach recently unveiled their first US headliner for “Who Do You Trust?” and the lineup boasts two more of Monster Energy’s finest! Joining the summer tour next year are Asking Alexandria and Bad Wolves"It's been so long since we've done some real intimate shows like this in California — since 2009, in fact. We can't wait to show our California fans a bit of love they deserve. Sacto, S.F., L.A., they're all in for a treat." Singer Jacoby Shaddix said.

To date, Papa Roach have teased us with three tracks from the new album, including a lyric video for “You’re Not The Only One”, plus frontrunner singles "Who Do You Trust" and "Renegade Music". Just in time for the holiday season, the socal quartet have given us yet another lyric video for the track “Elevate” which you can see below.

The band have all but filled the entire first half of 2019 with tour dates including an extensive US run alongside friends Shinedown, and Monster Energy’s own Asking Alexandria for the Attention! Attention! Tour. Following the US run, Papa Roach will jetset straight to the UK for the first official headlining tour in support of “Who Do You Trust?” followed by some of the biggest music festivals Europe has to offer including Austria’s Nova Rock and Switzerland’s Greenfield Festival. If you’re dying to see Papa Roach performing material from “Who Do You Trust?” plus some older favorites, you have a pretty good chance of doing so in 2019.

When curiously asked about the direction of the new album, vocalist Jacoby Shaddix responded "There's a feeling of nostalgia, but also future fucking P. ROACH. Lyrically, it's the story of the general struggle and how you find peace within these necessary human feelings. Things that we all live at one point in our lives. They unite us. It's like this odd juxtaposition of maturity and adolescence. I feel that the dichotomy of the record keeps it fresh. Musically, it's like the most fucking extreme record we've ever made." Bassist Tobin Esperance adds "Our goal for our 10th album was to push ourselves even further into genres that inspire us most. We have reached the place where we always wanted to be, creating new and exciting music."
