Pol’And’Rock Festival: Music, Dust and Freestyle

Aug 072018

Different name, same amazing event! The 24th edition of Pol’And’Rock Festival, formerly called Woodstock Music Festival, went down last week on the outskirts of Kostrzyn nad Odrą in the western Poland. No different to previous years, for a couple of days the tiny town near the Polish-German border became one  of the biggest gatherings of people in Europe, with a festival attendance of up to 700 thousand people – one of the biggest in its history.

Our zone and activation received a very warm reception last year so we had no choice, but to return to Kostrzyn once again, bringing lots of action and energy with us.

All festivalgoers could refresh themselves with perfectly chilled Monster Energy drinks while having a look on jaw-dropping BMX and FMX shows performed every day in our area: the Czech crew VSA Extreme were rocking our miniramp on their BMX bikes and the Polish Freestyle Family couldn’t stop from throwing banger after banger on the FMX course.

Between the shows the miniramp was occupied by festivalgoers who wanted to test their skills on skateboards or BMX bikes.

Three hot days full of action and great music. The dust hasn’t settled yet, but we already can’t wait for another edition of Pol’And’Rock. See you next year in Kostrzyn!
