Tell us About 2018 season, how it went?

Well it was pretty busy! We did a lot of shows and a few races. We managed to give free lessons to people at some of the shows. It was nice, because this is a way to give back to people. I think the most interesting thing of 2018 was the "SWAP Project". I had to step out of my comfort zone and ride a downhill bike on a trail that you couldn't even walk on.
I had a lot of fun and i hope that viewers will find it interesting as well.


What car you'll drive in 2019?

I got my BMW E30 4.4 V8 Compressor. Drifting is an ever evolving sport and i found something that works well with me and i see no reason to change that. We change something every year, so the car can enhance my driving skills. It's important to know what works best for you.  

Are there any drivers that inspire you?

Yes, of course. Obviously Ken Block is one of the people that i have looked up to. His effortless style of driving is something that i really like, and he is very creative also. Vaughn Gittin jr. is a big inspiration also. His aggresive style is also pretty unique. From the Europeans I think Remmo Niezen and Adam K. Both of them are upcoming drivers with lot's of potential. I think my driving style is a mix of all the driving styles that i like.

What's your advice to young and upcoming drifters?

Well, you have to take it step by step. Don't do an overkill with a powerful car and lack of skill to drive it.
You can start with low cost project and progress your skills and eventually you can move on to the next project and have car that matches your skill. 

What would you like to change in Bulgarian drift scene?

I would like to see more events, which are open for drifters. I think we have world class drifters and cars and we just need more venues to show what we got.


What's your focus for 2019? Projects or races?

2019 will bring a lot of exciting events, which is good. BMW Fest 2019 is going to be one of the most memorable ones.
I will do a lot more online projects. I believe that, if we produce more content we'll reach more people and bring awareness to the drifting sport. It's going to be good, because the people that can't visit the events will be able to witness all the action.
