Maribor held a World Cup stop in MTB DH last weekend and all the big names showed up in this beautiful Slovenian town located in the foothills of Pohorje Mountain, which is known for one of the best, unique and profound DH tracks in the WC series. All the big names showed up for a spectacle that attracted cca 13.000 fans, who came to pay respect to the best in the game.
One of them was last year's overall WC winner, Amaury Pierron, who finished at respective 7th place and currently sits on 2nd place in overall standings, just behind another Monster rider and this season's leader, Danny Hart. We managed to catch up with young Frenchman and gave him few short questions. Check out what he had to say.
