Rain, mud and strong winds at 4th Unior DH Cup on Soriska Planina

4th race of Unior Downhill Cup is a wrap. 88 competitors from Bosnia, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia rolled down the 1650 meters long track at Soriska Planina in rainy and windy conditions, which consequently leaded to quite few slams. The fastest guy in the semis was Miran Vauh from KK Crn Trn, who had a great chance to overtake the lead and beat the absent Jure Zabjek; current leader in overall standings. Second best time belonged to his team mate Luka Berginc and Miha Ivancic from SKTD Avce ended just behind him.

Finals were just awesome! Special vibes among the local fans created a young gun Rudi Pintar (Sinter Brakes Team), who had a spectacular run down the hill, beat his rival Matic Kokalj from Wolf Racing Team, finishing the race ending on a well deserved 2nd place.
4th race of Unior DH Cup in Slovenia
Winner of the race was once again Luka Bergins, who apparently feels comfortable on Soriska Planina as this is his 2nd gold on this track. 20 year old was happy with the result and couldn't hide the excitement of getting in the Euro and World Cup game next season.

Bronze went to Miha Ivancic (SKTD Avce), followed by Jan Cimperman on 4th and underdog Matic Kvas (Wolf Racing Team) on 5th (All top5 on the picture below).
