Royce Da 5’9” – Summer On Lock

Royce da 5’9”’s highly anticipated 2018 studio album “Book of Ryan” may have already hit shelves and record players back in May, but the Detroit hip hop mainstay is still dropping bombs. Royce has just followed up with the video for his anthemic “Summer on Lock”. The track features a star-studded lineup of hip hop’s finest guests including Pusha-T, Fabolous, Jadakiss, and Agent Sasco all collaborating on summer’s freshest track.

The video features all that most of us can only ever dream of: hip hop’s finest in a huge warehouse tricking out on motorbikes, surrounded by beautiful women, luxury cars, and the other star of the video…a black BMW with butterfly doors.

Royce considers Book of Ryan his most personal project to date. “Book of Ryan is my greatest piece of work,” he told Complex in March. “I put everything I had into this album (spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially) and am excited to finally share it with the world. I hope you enjoy.” The record boasts a whopping 20 tracks, and includes guest appearances by Eminem, Boogie, Logic, and J. Cole.
