The ski resort Snowland Valčianska Dolina radically changed during the second October Saturday and the visitors didn’t arrive for turism or relaxation this time. They all showed up for the Slovakia’s biggest freestyle show ShowTime FMX including Slovak, Czech and Polish FMX and BMX stars.
Fans were already showing up during the training and the riders left no doubt that they are ready for a real freestyle massacre. When the moderators Jan Žgravčák and Tomáš "Jimbo" Platko finally announced start of the event, there were already a few hundred people around the track looking forward to see some great tricks.
Freestyle BMX riders got the show started with some incredible tricks and the level and difficulty was gorwing with each ride. Romana Pichnarčík started with clean backflip tailwhip followed by Andreas Fiore with backflip superman. At this time, everyone knew that this was only the beginning. Riders started killing it in a unreal pace and we could see tricks like Sandoval frontflip (J. Lőrinc), backflip 360 (K. Lőrinc), backflip tailwhip x-up (R. Pichnarčík), backflip triple tailwhip or 360 superman seatgrab (A. Fiore). Members of the audience had unique opportunity to feel some adrenaline as well as some of them tried to jump into the huge airbag.
BMX riders got the fans heated up for the main event, the Freestyle Motocross Show including Marcin Lukaszczyk (PL), Pavel Polášek (CZ), Zdeňek Fusek (CZ) a and young talent Matej Česák (CZ). The riders started with some ultimate classics such as dead body, tsunami or stripper, but the cheering audience and impressive fire show togeher with the moderators created an amazing atmosphere that inspired the riders for some breath taking performances. Marcin Łukaszczyk landed a backflip combined with heelclicker and superman, Zdeněk Fusek surprised by unbelievable combination of superman seatgrab into rocksolid into a double heart attack scorpion and the audience darling Matěj Česák won the contest with backflip nac nac and backflip superman.
The adrenaline show however wasn’t the only part of the program. Organisers prepared other accompanying activities such as introduction of MX Slavia Martin team, KTM Andventure products or the Husqarna project focused on the youngest riders. The whole day was finsihed by a huge Monster Energy Afterparty including DJ Lucky Boy and Slovakia’s best rapper Ego.
