The Formula One season comes under the spotlight this weekend with the brilliant night race in Singapore. Set among the streets with over 1,600 lights illuminating the track, it makes for an incredible spectacle. The racing is not too bad, either; the tight, twisty track will test F1's drivers to the limit, along with temperatures in the cockpit of around 50 degrees Celsius.
Pole position is key to getting a good start and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport Team star, and drivers' championship leader, Lewis Hamilton, knows there could be stiff opposition from Red Bull and Ferrari for pole.
Lewis said: "I think Red Bull will be fast this weekend and it's known that it's not going to be the easiest of weekends, but I come with positivity and I am planning on winning this race. We come here on full attack.
"Our understanding is that the car will potentially help this weekend, but you never really know where you'll be able to place the car, so if we can get the car in a place that's comfortable, a bit like we were in the last two races, then I think we will definitely be strong in the fight."
