SIXX:A.M. and Korn rocking it at Power Festival in Poland

Power Festival is a brand new event in the music festival map of Poland. The first edition of the event has proved there’s a huge demand for hard rock music festivals in Poland. Although the entrance gates were opened shortly before 5 pm, the fans had queued since early morning to conquer the best spots by the stage. Lots of them headed straight to the Monster Energy area, though, to get autographs of all SIXX:AM band members and Jonathan Davis during two very special signing sessions.

A Polish heavymetal group Scream Maker opened the one-day festival, followed by a rock-metal band Chassis.

A hard rock icon Nikki Sixx, D.J. Ashba famous for performing with Guns N’Roses and the unrivaled James Michael, all together known as SIXX:A.M., showed up on the stage at 7.30 pm.

The American band is now promoting their latest album „Prayers for The Damned” and doing their first tour around Europe.

SIXX:A.M. started their concert with "This Is Gonna Hurt", further followed by such hits as "Rise" or "Life Is Beautiful". James Michael, supported by a female choir left the fans with a huge appetite for more. And they got what their wanted in less than one hour later!

At 9 pm the whole band came to the Monster Energy area to meet their fans during an autograph session. DJ Ashba, James Michael and Nikki Sixx greeted each fan warmly, answering all the questions and signing countless cards, t-shirts or albums.

It also wasn’t much different one earlier when Jonathan Davis of Korn visited the Monster area to give out hundreds of autographs. Needless to say that the queue leading to JD almost circled the whole Atlas Arena.

In the meanwhile, all the fans who had already met up JD could return to the main hall and listen to the concert of a trash metal band – Megadeth.

Eventually the zero hour struck for the Korn fans. In return for the loud welcome the band gave a daring, wild and hard concert including Korn’s greatest hits.

Apart from such classics as "Coming Undone", "Did My Time" or "Shoot And Ladders", JD and co. performed also Pink Floyd’s cover "Another Brick in The Wall".

Lots of fans dared to say later on it was the best Korn concert they had seen live. Let’s hope the romance between the band and Polish fans will last long years.
