Round three of the 2017 CMRC Canadian Motocross series took place this past weekend at the Wild Rose MX track, in the heart of the city of Calgary, Alberta and it was another solid day for the Monster Energy Alpinestars Kawasaki team.
In MX2, Jacob Hayes was fast all day, logging the second quickest time in qualifying. He followed up a sixth in moto one with a holeshot in moto two and a third place finish to get on the podium for the moto. Heading into round four, Hayes sits fourth in points in the MX2 championship chase.
It was a consistent day for Mike Alessi in MX1. Qualifying in the number six spot, he would log a pair of fifth place finishes in the motos to give him sixth overall on the day. He sits in sixth overall in the MX1 points standings after three rounds.
