Supercross Round One: Anaheim

With a full house of over 45,000 rabid supercross fans watching on from inside Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the curtain-raising round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross events saw two Monster energy athletes, namely Christian Craig (Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha) and Seth Hammaker (Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki) – power to a one-two finish in the 250SX West Region Supercross Series main event. For Craig, who was born and raised near Anaheim, California, the win was very close to the heart.

“This is a bucket list win for me,” said Craig from atop of the victory podium and who ran out front on his own from lap five right on through to the main event finish. “Once I got up front I just clicked off laps and kept the pace up. Definitely pumped to win here at Anaheim.”
