Double Speedway World Champion has come to the rescue of the Monster Energy team and will ride with Aussie shredder Chris Holder in the final round of the Best Pairs championship.
The series sees seven teams track three riders (two main riders plus a reserve) across three rounds and so far our team has consisted of current World Champ Greg Hancock alongside Chris Holder and Pawel Przedpelski.
However, both Greg and Pawel are currently on the sidelines with injuries and our newest recruit, Patryk Dudek, is unavailable as he's already scheduled to race a vital world championship qualifying meeting in Russia. That leaves Woffy and Holder as the last two standing and Tai was only too happy to help out and join the team for the final round in Gniezno, Poland next Thursday (17th).
"My schedule is crazy so it's hard for me to do the Pairs meetings and Greg, Chris and Pawel have been the team since it started so I am happy for those guys to do it, but when I found out that we were struggling I jumped at it and I'm happy I can help out,” he said.
"We don't get to do too many of these kinds of races and I don't get to race anywhere with Chris, who is a good mate, so it'll be a lot of fun to race with him and try and score some points to see if we can get on the podium. Even though we all race as individuals in the world championship we are a bit of a team and we all get on really well, so it'll be cool to represent the claw with CH."
Team Monster currently sits in 5th place, just two points off a medal position and has a good chance to make the top three with a strong performance.
