We’re going-going, back-back, to Bali-Bali. That’s right, folks! After a cameo on the Island of the Gods in 2013, the WSL is bringing the tour back to Keramas for the Corona Bali Protected. The fifth stop of the Championship Tour will replace Fiji, which, ironically, is about to cop a historic swell this weekend. What can we expect from this refreshed event? Black-sand beaches. Temples. Rippable rights. Bikinis. High-flying airs. Plastic-pollution awareness. Indonesian lessons (repeat after me, Bagus!). The return to Indonesia, the surf world’s Disneyland, is a welcome addition for surfers and spectators alike. Let the fun begin!
The waiting period for the 2018 Corona Bali Protected extends from May 27 – June 9. Tune in to worldsurfleague.com to catch all the action!
