Unior DH Cup: Great opening of the season on Javornik Mountain

New management of Bike Park Javornik came up with a technically challenging (2,5 km long with a 375 of a height difference) track, which was also treacherously slippery because of Friday's rainfalls. Luckily weather wasn't an issue on the day of the competition, what was quite a relief for the riders as well as the organisers.

Knowing the conditions, ninety riders from Slovenia, Croatia, France and Italy had to use all of their skills and experiences to do their best and finish the race. This time it was the Team Crn Trn from Ajdovscina; Slovenia that dominated in the finals with a double podium in men's and a victory in women's category.

First Unior DH Cup race was a great race, especially because it put Javornik back on the map after two years of absence. New manager (Des Fles) did a great job and we are looking forward to the upcoming Union DH Cup race, which will take place in Bike Park Cerkno on 28th and 29th of July!
