For all you rev heads who have been gearing up to watch the Supercars go wild on the track, we’re stoked to let you know the Supercars All-Star eSeries is here to save the day. From April 8, for the first time ever all 24 Supercar drivers will be taking on the virtual track to race using at home simulators.
The professional drivers will compete from their homes using iRacing, a simulator considered the most realistic possible. The Supercars Championship is set to have the full line up of pro’s competing in the eSeries, driving their own current cars complete with current liveries through the virtual track. Fans tuning in from home will be able to hear the drivers throughout the races and a number of webcams will be set up for broadcast including one for Monster Energy’s very own Cam Waters.
“It’ll be really cool for us to race against each other in the eSeries. Obviously the way the world is at the moment we don’t get to race each other on the track, but this is as close as it gets, and the whole field of Supercar drivers are competing, so it’ll be good to get amongst it. We race on some pretty cool tracks, I’ll need to learn some of them, but it’ll be fun. We’re all competitive so we’ll have a crack for sure, but I’m guessing some of the guys won’t be very good, so we’ll have plenty of laughs too.” - Cameron Waters.
