No rain, no mud can stop 90.000 metalheads to celebrate the legendary Wacken Open Air 2016. For the last 27 years Metal fans have made their way to Northern-Germany, making sure that they do not miss any action from this insane festival. 4 days of the finest extreme music is being performed on eight stages from morning till late night.

Wacken is renowned for its epic line up, so much so, that it is sold out every year in just few hours without any band announcements. The festival has a particularly special atmosphere and the hectic weather conditions never stop the thousands of fans from camping out for the entire weekend.

The Monster Music roster was well represented this year with no less than 5 bands including German acts of Caliban & Eskimo Callboy and international acts with Bullet for my Valentine, Bury Tomorrow and While She Sleeps.

After Bury Tomorrow delivered a solid performance on the True Metal Stage, Bullet from my Valentine followed up with a memorable show in front of a crowd as far as eye can see!

As expected Caliban put on a killer show in their home turf, performing on the Headbanger Stage in front of a fully packed tent, despite the late slot such as While She Sleeps who kept audience awake till the early morning!

The next day Eskimo Callboy opened up the Party Stage on Saturday and despite the initial rain, more than 15.000 dedicated fans lined up to witness them tearing the stage to pieces with their heavy party hymns.

No mud, no rain, no wind could stop the fans jumping and running circle pits. An insane show that left nothing but stocked and happy faces behind.
