Svitavy gaming temple Fabrika hosted the 11th ROG FINALS on the last weekend before Christmas. The unique gaming show with projection on screen witnessed traditionally hundreds of fans at Fabrika and tens of thousands of spectators at the two-day live stream. As in the previous summer edition, the whole tournament focused on couple of currently most popular games Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends. The spectators were watching thrilling battles of local teams that all performed well. But who was the best one to win the trophy and take place of the king of the Czech throne?
ROG MASTERS SEASON #5 COUNTER-STRIKE: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE
Fifth season of the tournament in the most popular shooting game was full of very interesting moments already from the start. The basic part was pretty convoluted and the order of advancing teams was changing until the last moments. The biggest surprise and shock was the unexpected elimination of defending champion eXtatus. They lost with the eEriness and left the tournament earlier than anyone expected. And this is of course reflected in the overall standings. Their biggest rival, team eSuba had thus considerably less fuss and no major problem to cope with their rivals. They literally destroyed Fraternitas and than defeated Inside Games in the finals, however that match wasn’t that easy and the audience witnessed three maps of great gaming moments. Fraternitas, who defeated eEriness, won the battle for the third place.

ROG MASTERS SEASON #6 LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
The unexpected twists or results didn’t occurred even in the League of Legends tournament, where the favourite team and defenders of the majestic trophy did not find opponents. Yes, we are talking about currently best Czech team Fraternitas. They were not perfect in the basic part, however they excelled in Svitavy during finals. Their performance was a class higher than their opponents‘, both in the semi-final against Majestic Lions, and in the final against eSuba. FTS therefore deservedly and without losing the map defended their title. However there was still one surprise. Inside Games finally broken their Svitavy curse and conquered the bronze medal duel against Majestic Lions. So they finally didn’t finished on the unpopular fourth place.
