The 2.626-mile, 16-turn Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Riviera Di Rimini, Italy hosted the Nolan Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna on Sunday afternoon, the 16th round of the 18-round 2021 FIA MotoGP World Championship. Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) is the 2021 MotoGP World Champion. Going into the weekend, Francesco Bagnaia was second in the championship point standings behind Quartararo but a late Bagnaia crash while leading in the closing stages of the Grand Prix allowed Quartararo to clinch the championship. In his Italian swansong race, Monster Energy’s Valentino Rossi and his Petronas Yamaha SRT placed 10th on Sunday. The globetrotting MotoGP circus will now move on to the Grande Premio do Algarve in Portugal on November 7, 2021.

In Moto2 race action it was Monster Energy’s Sam Lowes racing to victory for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team. Monster Energy’s Celestino Vietti placed fourth for the SKY Racing Team VR46, while Monster Energy’s Stefano Manzi placed sixth for the Pons HP40 race team.



Monster Energy’s Courtney Duncan of Bike it MTX Kawasaki wrapped up her third consecutive FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship title at the final round in Trentino, Italy. The Kiwi racer entered the final stage of the series with a 16-point advantage over her closest rival Kiara Fontanesi, but some bad luck prevented the Italian from taking the battle to the final race as Duncan was able to secure the gold World Championship plate by the end of the first race.



The Aramco United States Grand Prix was set for the 3.426-mile, 20-turn Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas on Sunday afternoon. After all was said and done, Monster Energy’s Lewis Hamilton in the #44 AMG F1 W12 E Performance Silver Arrow finished in the runner-up position. Monster Energy’s Valtteri Bottas, also in a Mercedes AMG F1 W12 E Performance Silver Arrow, placed sixth overall at the checkered flag. In the titanic fight for the 2021F1 World Championship, Lewis Hamilton sits 12 points adrift of championship leader Max Verstappen (287.5 points to 275.5 points). Formula 1 will race next on November 7, 2021, at the 2.674-mile, 17-turn Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico.



Round number 14 of the 18 round FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship, the MXGP of Trentino was staged at the Arco di Trento-Circuito Ciclamino circuit in Trentino, Italy and it was Glenn Coldenhoff of the Monster Energy Yamaha MXGP Factory Team placing runner-up on the day. Romain Febvre of the Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team placed fourth and Jeremy Seewer of the Monster Energy Yamaha MXGP Factory Team was fifth. In the remarkable fight for the 2021 FIM MXGP World Championship, Jeffrey Herlings holds down the lead with 555 points, while Romain Febvre is right there in second place with 532 points.


In MX2 competition from Trentino, Jago Geerts of the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team finished runner-up in the afternoon. Maxime Renaux of the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 Team finished up the two motos with an eighth-place overall result. As the 2021 MX2 World Championship rolls on, Maxime Renaux holding down a very commanding lead with 563 points. Second, in the title chase is Monster Energy’s Jago Geerts with 471 points. MXGP will now race once again in Trentino, Italy this coming Wednesday afternoon.



Monster Energy’s Ty Gibbs scored his fourth Xfinity Series win of the 2021 season. Gibbs and the #54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota passing defending champion Austin Cindric with 11 laps remaining to win the Kansas Lottery 300 on the 1.5-mile, progressively banked Kansas Speedway oval. With that, Ty Gibbs and Joe Gibbs Racing Did exactly what they needed to do to clinch the 2021 ARCA Menards Series Championship. The NASCAR Xfinity Series will compete next Saturday at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia.



The Type S Title Fight Formula DRIFT round was held at Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, California on Saturday evening before an overflow crowd of 15,000 rabid Drift enthusiasts. The all-conclusive eighth and final round of the 2021 Formula DRIFT championship series. Vaughn Gittin Jr. in the Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR placed third on the night, good enough for fifth overall in the final 2021 Formula Drift championship standings.



The high stakes Women’s Freeski Big Air final on Friday, saw 30-year-old Sarah Hoefflin from Switzerland take second place in front of a hometown crowd. And in the epic Men’s Freeski Big Air final, 21-year-old Monster Energy team rider Birk Ruud from Oslo, Norway, finished in a strong third-place position.



In the highly contested Women’s Snowboard Big Air final on Saturday, 16-year-old Kokomo Murase from Gifu, Japan, put down flawless aerials to claim the win against the world elite of the sport. In the Men’s Snowboard Big Air final, 22-year-old Rene Rinnekangas from Iisalmi, Finland, coasted into second place. He was joined on the podium by 27-year-old Sven Thorgren from Stockholm, Sweden, in third place.



“Jessy Jess” is back! Monster Energy’s Jessica-Rose Clark earns a unanimous decision victory over Joselyne Edwards at UFC Fight Night 196 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday night. In the main card fight in the women’s bantamweight division, the 33-year-old from Cairns, Australia, dominated her opponent on the ground to earn a victory by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
