Jared Graves is mountain biking’s consummate jack of all trades. Whether on downhill bike, 4-Cross track, enduro course, this former BMX Olympian is always a contender for the win. One of the original MTB professionals, he can usually be found around the pits during downtime during race weeks doing sprints and keeping up with his training. Don’t let his professional demeanour fool you though, Graves is as big a joker as you can find as his long time mechanic Shaun and his teammates can attest to. Getting a photo of Jared with a straight face when it isn’t game time is almost impossible and he always has time to sign autographs of pose for a selfie with a fan. After a long season of MTB in '06, Graves transitioned back to his BMX roots and managed a 6th place at the Beijing Olympics 18 months later. The next season, he returned to the big wheels and took home both the 4-Cross World Cup overall and the World Championships and seemed untouchable before turning his focus to Enduro. As an burgeoning new discipline, Enduro could not ask for a better, more personable ambassador where Graves wasted no time taking the overall Enduro World Series title in 2014. Look for big things from Jared who recently signed to a new race team for 2016.
