The Monster Energy brand names, logos and/or materials are used for the purposes of promotion and/or prize descriptions only and such use is not intended to suggest or imply Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd.’s sponsorship of this Promotion.
  3. To qualify to enter the promotion, customers must purchase any TWO 500mL Monster Energy Products (all variants) in a single transaction during the Promotion Period at any participating Four-Square Store (Qualifying Purchase). You must be living in New Zealand and aged 18 years or older to enter.
  4. To enter the promotion, fill in all the required details in the entry form and drop it into the entry box. Entries must be submitted in the same participating store where the Qualifying Purchase is made.
  5. There will be one (1) winner per participating store. Each winner will receive a Monster Energy Ice Cooler, estimated values $194NZD.

Cooler Promo Terms & Conditions of Entry

PROMOTION

  1. Coca-Cola Amatil NZ Limited, The Oasis, Mt Wellington, Auckland, is the Promoter of this Promotion (Promoter).

 

  1. Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd. is not a promoter of this Promotion. The Monster Energy brand names, logos and/or materials are used for the purposes of promotion and/or prize descriptions only and such use is not intended to suggest or imply Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd.’s sponsorship of this Promotion.

 

  1. The promotion is being conducted throughout Four Square Stores in the South Island. Information regarding prizes and how to enter the Promotion form part of these terms and conditions of entry (Terms and Conditions). Entry into the Promotion is deemed as acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

 

  1. You must be living in New Zealand and aged 18 years or older to enter.

 

  1. Employees of the Promoter and any agency associated with the Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are ineligible to enter.

 

PROMOTION PERIOD

  1. The promotion entry period will commence on Monday 15th February 2021 and will run until 11.59pm (NZDT) on Sunday 28th February 2021 (Promotion Period).

METHOD OF ENTRY

  1. To qualify to enter the promotion , customers must purchase any TWO 500mL Monster Energy Products (all variants) in a single transaction during the Promotion Period at any participating Four Square Store (Qualifying Purchase).
  2. One entry form will be given per Qualifying Purchase made. For example if 2 products are purchased in a single transaction = 1 entry form, if 4 products are purchased in a single transaction = 2 entry forms, if 6 products are purchased in a single transaction = 3 entry forms and so on and so forth. Each entry form provides you with one entry in to the draw. The entry forms can only be obtained at the checkout at the time a Qualifying Purchase is made. Each entry form can only be used once. Proof of purchase required.
  3. To enter the promotion, fill in all the required details in the entry form and drop it into the entry box. Entries must be submitted in the same participating store where the Qualifying Purchase is made.
  4. Incomplete or invalid entries or those not submitted in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late or lost entries. Entries will not be accepted outside of the Promotion Period.
  5. Multiple entries are permitted per day per entrant, but entrants cannot submit more than one (1) entry for each Qualifying Purchase and cannot win more than one Prize.

PRIZE

  1. There is one prize (Prize) of a Monster Energy Ice Cooler with an estimated value of $194NZD to be won per Four Square Store in the South Island.

There are 62 Monster Energy Ice Coolers to be won in total.

The estimated total prize pool is valued at NZD$12,028. The Prize is unavailable for purchase in any store so this value is an estimate only.

  1. All winners will be drawn by 14th March 2021, with one winner randomly selected from all valid entries for each participating Four Square Store from all prize entries received (i.e. completed and submitted entry forms) in that store during the Promotion Period.
  2. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  3. Each Prize must be collected from the store where the winning entry was submitted.
  4. The winner will be notified via the e-mail address or mobile number supplied on the drawn entry form within 48 hours of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 10 working days, his/her Prize will be redrawn and awarded to another eligible entrant on the same terms and conditions as the original draw. The Promoters are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information submitted on the entry form.
  5. If the Prize is unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoters’ reasonable control, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
  6. A person may enter as many times as they wish but can only win one Prize, regardless of how many entries that person submits, even if at different participating stores. If a person who has already won a Prize is drawn as a winner in connection with another participating store, the relevant Prize draw will be redrawn, and a new winner will be determined from the remaining valid entries.

CONDITIONS

  1. The Promoters’ decisions and the draw results are final and not subject to appeal.
  2. If this promotion cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoters’ reasonable control, for example due to software, hardware or communication issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoters may end, change or suspend the promotion or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any applicable law.
  3. The Promoters may amend these terms and conditions at any time and wherever possible such amended terms and conditions will be displayed at participating Four Square Stores or online at www.monsterenergy.com
  4. The winner may be required to show proof of age and proof of purchase to verify eligibility. The Promoters’ decision as to eligibility will be final.
  5. The winners have rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which cannot be excluded or limited by the Promoters. These rights include statutory guarantees that any goods provided by the Promoters will be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose. These terms and conditions do not, and do not intend to, exclude or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so, the Promoters make no representations or warranties, express or implied, under laws other than the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 regarding the quality or suitability of the prize awarded as part of this promotion and will not be responsible for breach of such representations or warranties.

General

  1. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  2. The Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Entrants must comply with all requirements of the Promoter including requirements specified in the Terms and Conditions. If an entrant enters or attempts to enter the Promotion in a manner, which in the Promoter’s opinion, is contrary to these Terms and Conditions or is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants (such as hacking, cheating, deception, or any other unfair playing practices), the entry may be rejected at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an entrant invalid if the entrant:
  1. fails to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction;
  2. tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion;
  3. submits an entry which in the Promoter's opinion is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
  4. acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;
  5. in the opinion of Promoter, engages in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter;
  6. breaches any law; or
  7. behaves in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
  1. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering this Promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may use the entrant’s personal information to conduct the Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (including to send electronic messages or telephone the entrant in relation to the Promotion).
  2. The Promoter may disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and other suppliers for the purpose of conducting the Promotion. The details of winners will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy that can be accessed at https://www.ccamatil.com/privacy-policy. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how entrants may complain about a breach of the New Zealand Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. Winners should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter at the postal address provided in clause 1 above. All information provided by participants will become property of the Promoter. All information submitted will remain anonymous.
  3. If for any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, any aspect of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned or the conduct or operation of the Promotion is interfered with or disrupted in any way by a cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, tampering, computer bugs or viruses or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries at any time without prior notice, subject to any applicable law.
  4. The Promoters and the agencies and companies associated with the Promotion are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, or damage suffered in connection with this Promotion or any Prize, except for any liability under statute which cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
