Gus Kenworthy

In an age of ever-increasing specialization, Gus Kenworthy does it all. A true triple-discipline threat, Gus skis and competes more than any other freeskier out there. A native of Telluride, CO, Gus’s 2014-15 saw him take the entire competitive field to task, winning events in all three disciplines in back-to-back-to-back fashion: Air + Style Big Air, Grand Prix Park City Halfpipe and SFR Finals Slopestyle. And in 2015-16 Gus one-upped himself by taking podiums in all three disciplines again, netting himself four X Games medals along the way. While the rest of the ski industry gets increasingly more narrow, Gus’s talent and drive have raised his bar to a whole new level.
