When Lewis Hamilton exploded onto the F1 scene in 2007, he was a clear game changer. It wasn’t just his raw natural pace, or never-say-die driving style that rattled the cages of the more established drivers in the paddock, but also his ability to soak up massive pressure while still delivering super-consistent results. Flash-forward nine years, and Lewis has carved his name indelibly into the Formula One record books. Now aged 32, Lewis has locked down three F1 driver world titles, as well as taken a whopping 53 wins and 104 podiums. More impressively, when you check out the championship results for the time Lewis has been ripping it up in F1, the British racer has never once finished lower than 5th in the season ending tables, and taken podiums in nearly half the Grand Prix he’s started.
