Kevin has BMX in his blood, quite literally. His father was a professional rider in Mexico and all three of his brother's shred, too. A full family affair… More often than not you’ll find the entire Peraza tribe at an event cheering Kevin on—whether it’s Los Angeles, California, or Tallin, Estonia. And, that may be part of the reason you’ll catch Kev rocking a smile during the most intense events of the year. But, the real reason behind that smile is that the dude just loves to be on his bike. Kevin takes every opportunity as a blessing and treats everyone he comes across with an enthusiasm that’s infectious. That, and the tremendous amount of skill that he has on his bike, has made him one of the few dudes that’s able to enter a world-class contest one week and go on a street-exclusive trip for Vans the next. A true all-around rider, Kevin has won a NORA Cup (Number One Rider Award) in Dirt, an X Games gold medal in both park and dirt, and put out multiple street video parts that are revered by the industry and his fans alike. So okay, he’s good at everything. So what does Kevin have his eyes set on? The rings. Specifically, the first-ever Freestyle BMX event at the Olympics. To get there, he’ll have to dominate a few World Cup events and the World Championships. But that’s not all…Kevin is also working on starting his own pro/am event, filming a promo video for his sponsor Mongoose Bikes, and working on an X Games Real Street spot. Basically, Kevin will be working his ass off…with a smile.
