Model, dancer, fighter: Monster Energy’s Valerie Loureda is truly a master of many talents. But her mixed martial arts skills and undefeated track record in Bellator MMA are what makes the Miami native stand out from the rest of the pack. Sure, her viral dance videos on TikTok and Instagram shots decked out in designer fashions break the internet on a regular basis. And her personality sparkled in front of several million viewers on the world’s top-rated Hispanic television show, Estados Unidos. But any opponent who writes her off as a reality TV star is in for a harsh reality check: As a 4th Dan Master in Olympic-style taekwondo, the ‘Cuban Barbie’ dominates in the Octagon with an iron fist. Her knockout victory at Bellator 243, followed by an effusive victory dance in the middle of the ring, launched Valerie into super stardom and earned her a multi-fight contract with Bellator. Now that her focus is 100% on fighting, she’s ready to add a championship belt to all the designer belts in her closet and serve as a role model for females in combat sports.
