Ricardo’s motivation por biking began since he was three years old, encouraged by his father and Valle de Bravo’s routes where he specialized in downhill and enduro.
After a friend showed him an online Mountain Bike video called “Downhill Section Roam”, he decided he wanted to do the same. Two years later, and after working as a guide for a local bike shop at Valle the Bravo, he finally got his first downhill bike with the support of his parents.
Ricardo started competing at 17 and became National Sub-champion in the Downhill Junior category. Two years later, he made it as the Elite National Champion and won Downhill Guanajuato 2014, one of the most prestigious urban downhill competitions in Mexico.
Peredo has participated in several urban downhill races and positioned himself within the Top Ten at the World Final of urban downhill in the 2017 edition, his best competition so far. He has also competed in the Mexico’s National Championship and Epic Enduro Series, most recently at the Enduro World in Colombia. Nowadays, he is national Sub-champion in this discipline.
