Joan Mir

Hot out of the gates, Spanish rider Joan Mir entered the Moto3™ World Championship in 2016, where he immediately made his mark, claiming Rookie of the Year. 2017 saw the Spaniard fire things up even further with an incredible ten wins, before taking the title at the Australian Grand Prix. Moving up to Moto2™ in 2018, the Mir continued his run of form, claiming Rookie of the Year in the intermediate class. The Spaniard’s clear talent saw him elevated to the premier class in 2019, where he went from strength to strength accumulating ten top 10’s in his debut season. Mir’s consistency and determination launched him into the 2020 title fight, where he was later crowned World Champion with two rounds to go. Battling hard to defend his crown in 2021, he finished the season in third place, motivated to take back what was once his, in 2022.
