Since the 1960s and its glamour heyday the world-famous Nevada oasis has attracted a certain amount of daring, and in 2019 the Mint 400 desert race keeps that sense of risk and abandon alive and welcomed motorcycles back to the contest for the first time in 43 years.

The legendary Rally Dakar wrapped last week, and Nani Roma, Casey Currie and the Monster Energy Can-Am Team rocked the savage 3,100 mile route from start to finish.

For 41 years the Dakar Rally has severely tested minds, motors and muscles, and the ten stages and two-week chase through more than 5000km and the swallowing sand and dunes of Peru was no different for the 2019 edition.
