All eyes will be on Leme in Arlington, Texas, this coming week.

He had a significant lead a year ago and was shocked when first-year Monster Energy teammate Jess Lockwood came from behind to win his second PBR title in two years.

Lockwood is in fifth after missing a significant portion of the season this year, but confident he has what it takes to make up the 745.5 points he trails Leme. Lockwood won the World Finals average last year and would love to do it again this year. A win by Lockwood could impact Leme’s final outcome, especially with two other Monster Energy riders — Derek Kolbaba and Marco Eguchi — feeling as though they could win the Finals average too.

In recent weeks, Kolbaba won back to back 15/15 Bucking Battles while Eguchi is a former Finals average winner.

All five riders — Leme, Lockwood, Kolbaba, Eguchi, and Mauney — could, in fact, add to or significantly rewriter their legacies by the time the Finals are over with at AT&T Stadium.

This year’s PBR World Finals will take place on November 12–15. Thursday and Friday the event starts at 8:30 p.m. CT, 6:30 p.m. CT on Sunday and the final two rounds are Sunday at 4:30 p.m. CT.
