Following the mid-year cut, the time it takes to run a contest has shrunk by 32% percent, which means they could theoretically run the entire thing during one swell. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Monster Threats

Filipe Toledo: For the second contest in a row Filipe will be wearing the yellow jersey. Look for him to use this surge of confidence to once and for all prove his skill in backhand tubes.

Seth Moniz: Sitting comfortably above the cut line and already qualified for the 2023 world tour, expect Seth to remind the world why he’s one of the best barrel riders in the world.

Griffin Colapinto: Up two spots to No. 10 in the world, this is where Griffin’s campaign for the top-5 really begins. Can he convince a new generation that the G in G-Land is actually for Griffin? It wouldn’t surprise us.
