James Woods known by all as simply ‘Woodsy’ hit the Pro circuit in 2010 as a rookie and has never looked back. Woodsy is proof you don’t need to be raised in the mountains to make it. Bred in the ‘Steel city’ he is a home grown talent Sheffield and the UK can be proud of.

Woodsy didn’t even see fresh snow for his first 4 years skiing, learning his trade on the dry slopes. Now you find him smashing it in slopstyle and big air comps around the world.  5 x British champion just isn’t good enough, Woodsy took his first podium at Euro – X with a bronze in slopestyle 2011, not to mention 5th in both big air and slopstyle at the AFP world champs. Not bad for a ‘Rookie’ Year.

2012 will see Woodsy tearing up the major comp scene proving he is here to stay. If you hadn’t heard of Woodsy already, it is a name you won’t forget any time soon.
