Tyla Rattray won the 2008 MX2 World Championship and was set to defend his title in 2009. However, his lifelong dream came true when an eleventh hour deal was struck with the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki race team that would allow Rattray to compete in the United States of America as part of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA MX Nationals. Cognizant that Rattray had the right stuff, team owner Mitch Payton found room on his already powerful lineup to slot in the hard charging rider. Renowned for his strength and self-determination, Rattray is a fierce competitor and one very eager to prove to all that he is in, in fact, the best 250F rider in the world.
