April 06, 2013
Stop 3 of the Super Series hit Aldo Scribante race way in Port Elizabeth is past weekend. The tight and technical track made for some really close racing with plenty of knocks and body contact. Monster Energy super bike rider Nic Grobler experienced bike trouble in the 1st race but made up for lost ground securing second in the final race of the day. Monster man Gennaro Bonafede was in the thick of things taking lots of knocks in his competitive class A production car but in the end managing to retain enough points to keep his 4th place standing in the championship. The Monster Energy crew supported the Castrol Mini Class T team and were looking extremely fast but had some bad luck with Gavin Cronje blowing his motor.
