Second Win of the 2026 Supercars Championship for Waters

Fresh off his Darwin Triple Crown victory in the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship, Monster Energy’s Cam Waters continued to put down hot laps and pick up points this past weekend, winning one of the three races across three days in the North Queensland NTI Townsville 500. Waters would top Shell V-Power Racing’s Brodie Kostecki and Matthew Payne of Penrite Racing in Friday’s opening Supercars race.

 “I was lucky I didn’t have another lap to hold Brodie off,” said Waters. “He was coming pretty fast.”

 The win and subsequent points from his 4th place in Race 2 and 3rd place in Race 3 on the weekend moved Waters up to 4th overall in the points standings.
