     Terms and Conditions 

    Who is running the competition?

    The Promoter is Monster Energy® AU Pty Ltd (ABN 84 132 571 638) of Unit 10c, 2 Daydream St, Warriewood NSW 2102 (Promoter). 

     

    The Promoter is responsible for this Promotion.

     

    Zuffa, LLC (Zuffa) is not a sponsor of the Monster Energy® UFC® in the United States Promotion. UFC®, Ultimate Fighting Championship®, Zuffa®, Octagon® and the eight-sided competition mat and cage design are registered trade marks, registered service marks, trademarks, trade dress and/or service marks owned exclusively by Zuffa and licensed to its affiliated entities and other licensees in the United States and other jurisdictions. All other marks referenced herein may be the property of Zuffa, its affiliates, or other respective owners.

    Where will the competition run? 

    The competition will run in participating stores which are displaying the advertising material in Australia (Stores).  

    When will the competition start and end?

    The competition period starts at 12.01am (AEST) on 07/09/2026 and ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 01/12/2026 (the Competition Period). 

    Who can enter?

    Entry is only open to Australian residents who: 

     

    1.   are aged 21 years or over; 

     

    1. can take the prize on dates to be determined by the Promoter to coincide with a 2027 UFC event, expected to be held between January 2027 and June 2027 in the United States (exact date and location to be determined by the Promoter in accordance with the official UFC fixture); and

     

    1. hold a current and valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity at 30 June 2027. 

     

    Entry is not open to the following persons: 

     

    1. management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, the participating Stores and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the competition (including suppliers of prizes); 
    2. a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph (a) above; 
    3. persons who have won a prize or prizes valued either individually or collectively at more than AUD $5,000 (including GST) in any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter, within the 12 months prior to the commencement of the Competition Period; 
    4. persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and 
    5. persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.

    The persons referred to in paragraph (b) above include biological and non-biological relations, and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its reasonable discretion.

    Do I need to buy anything to enter?

    During the Competition Period, you need to buy any: 

    • 2 x 500ml Monster Energy® cans; or 
    • 1 x multipack (4x500ml) of Monster Energy® cans; or
    • 1 x 24 Pack (24 x 500ml) of Monster Energy® cans; or
    •  (all variants),  

    in 1 transaction (Qualifying Purchase) from a Store and retain your itemised receipt as proof of purchase.

     

    A single itemised receipt showing one or more Qualifying Purchases can only be used to make 1 entry, regardless of how many Qualifying Purchases are shown on that itemised receipt.

    Entry instructions 

    After you have made a Qualifying Purchase in accordance with the instructions under “Do I need to buy anything to enter?” section above, and collected your itemised receipt, you must then during the Competition Period:

    1. either:
      1. scan the QR code on the in-Store advertising material with your smartphone; or 
      2. visit www.monsterenergy.com/au/en/promotions (Website); and
    2. locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including by providing all requested information (including your name and address).

    The Released Parties (as defined in paragraph 23 below) are not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry. 

     

    No entries will be accepted outside the Competition Period.

    How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen? 

    There will be 1 winner determined in respect of this competition.

     

    The draw will be held at 1pm (AEDT) on 03/12/2026 at Level 13, 477 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000. 

     

    The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period will win the prize. 

     

    The Promoter may arrange to draw additional reserve entries in the draw and record them in order, in case the winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid, or the prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

     

    An independent scrutineer will observe the draw process.

    What can I win?

    There is 1 prize available.

     

    The prize is a UFC Experience with Monster Energy® in the United States for the winner and 1 adult companion (who must be aged 21 years or over by the conclusion of the Competition Period, and who must hold a current and valid passport with a minimum of 6 months’ validity at 30 June 2027), valued at up to AUD $20,000 depending on the destination in the United States and the winner's place of residence (which determines departure location). 

     

    The prize includes the following for the winner and their companion: 

    • Tickets to attend a UFC event in the United States on a date between January 2027 and June 2027, to be determined by the Promoter (based on dates identified by the Promoter);  
    • 6 nights' twin share accommodation in a 4-star hotel in the United States (as determined by the Promoter);
    • Return economy flights (including airfare taxes) from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to United States (destination city as determined by the Promoter); and 
    • 1 x AUD$750 International VISA debit card or equivalent to go towards transfers and incidental spending requirements (1 card for the winner only) associated with the trip. 

    Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Visa debit card are not included. Redemption of the Visa debit card is subject to the terms and conditions associated with the Visa debit card.

     

    For the avoidance of doubt: 

     

    • The prize winner and their companion must make their own way to and from the winner’s closest Australian capital city airport at their own expense;

     

    • The prize must be taken on the dates specified by the Promoter (to coincide with the 2027 UFC event selected by the Promoter), as notified to the winner within a reasonable period prior to the relevant date.  You must forfeit the prize if you cannot take the prize on those dates, in which case the prize will be dealt with in accordance with the “Unclaimed Prize” section below. 

     

    • The prize is subject to any applicable laws or guidelines, including in relation to a pandemic, any travel/government restrictions/directives, border closures, health advice and the like.

     

    By accepting or participating in the prize, you must ensure your companion accepts, and complies at all times with, these Terms and Conditions.

    Total prize pool

    The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $20,000.

    How many times can I enter?

    The following entry limits apply:

    • There is a limit of 3 entries per person; 
    • You can only enter once per day; and
    • You can only enter once per Qualifying Purchase.   

    For clarity, a single receipt showing a Qualifying Purchase can only be used to make 1 entry, regardless of how many Qualifying Purchases are shown on that receipt. 

     

    Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

    How and when will the winner/s be informed?

    The winner will be informed in writing via email within two business days of determination, and their last name, first name initial and postcode of residence published on the Website on 10/12/2026 for a period of 28 days.

    Must I keep anything to verify my entry?

    You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase.  

     

    If you don’t produce the proof of purchase for all entries when asked, the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize. 

     

    Receipts must not be tampered with, manipulated, altered or generated in any way.  If, the Promoter reasonably suspects, based on the information available, that a receipt may have been tampered with, altered, manipulated or generated, you will be asked for further information to allow the Promoter to validate your receipt.  If the information you provide does not establish the validity of your receipt (to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction) or you fail to provide such information in the timeframe reasonably requested, the Promoter may invalidate your entries or cancel your prize.

     

    If, in the Promoter's reasonable opinion, based on the available information, you have shared any receipt(s) with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize. 

     

    If I win, when must I claim my prize?

    You must claim your prize by 1pm (AEDT) on 17/12/2026.

     

    To claim the prize, you must by the time and date stipulated above, provide to the Promoter (or the Promoter’s agency) all reasonably requested details such as, but not limited to, age, I.D., name and address to allow the Promoter to validate that your entry complies with any eligibility requirements in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

    Unclaimed prize

    If:

    • the prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim time and date stipulated above;
    • after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter cannot contact the drawn prize winner (or a drawn winner does not contact the Promoter) by the relevant time and date; or
    • the prize winner is unable to take the prize on the dates notified to the winner;  
      1. These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above.  Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions.  By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions. 

    the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will carry out an unclaimed prize draw in the presence of an independent scrutineer (if required) at the same location as the original draw to randomly distribute the prize amongst valid entrants at 2pm (AEDT) on 17/12/2026.

     

    Any such winner will be informed by phone and in writing via email within two business days of determination and will have their last name, first name initial, and postcode of residence published on the Website on 23/12/2026 for a period of 28 days.

     

    If the prize remains un-won at the end of this promotion, or if the prize winner cannot be found, that information will be published on the Website on 22/01/2027.

    Entry

    1. Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter.  If you return a Qualifying Purchase, your entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion (unless the product is defective). The Released Parties (as defined below) are not liable for any problems with communications networks outside its reasonable control.  You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering.   If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/multiple aliases you may be disqualified. 

    Prizes

    1. Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as and when offered, and on the dates specified or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Released Parties will not be liable. If you forfeit the prize or any element of the prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or alternative prize as a substitute. The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier, Zuffa or the Promoter, including:
    2. validity period/s;
    3. booking and availability of flights, accommodation and events;
    4. conditions of travel and conditions of entry into any venues (including behaviour requirements, health and safety requirements and applicable dress codes);
    5. travel dates and specified travel exclusion periods; 
    6. any additional fees (payable by you) relating to changes made by you/your companion to a prize after it has been booked;
    7. the prize winner and their travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together;
    8. the requirement to obtain all necessary documents to travel to any overseas location specified, including a current and valid passport and any visas required; and
    9. a requirement to present your credit card when checking in to accommodation, which may also be used as security against hotel incidentals.
    10. You/your companion are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the prize, including meals, additional transport, insurance (including excesses), in-room charges, additional taxes, etc. 
    11. The Released Parties are not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.
    12. The Released Parties accept no responsibility if the event or activities awarded as part of the prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason outside their reasonable control. In that case you and your companion forfeit your entitlement to that event or activity and the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities. Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute for this altered prize element. 

    General           

    1. If you are the winner, you/your companion must, and you must ensure your companion takes part in) all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation.  You/your companion consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity.
    2. Any material failure by you or your companion to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier/s may result in a prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Released Parties or the prize supplier/s.
    3. You/your companion must, if required by the Promoter, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter in favour of the Promoter, Zuffa and other parties before taking the prize.  If you or your companion do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to the prize. 
    4. For event-based/travel prizes, you accept (and your companion must accept, and you must ensure your companion accepts) that some aspects of the prize may be inherently risky and that the prize may involve dangerous activities.
    5. If specified, in order to participate in the activity/activities awarded as part of the prize, you/your companion must comply (and you must ensure your companion complies) with any applicable conditions (e.g. height, weight, health and fitness requirements).  You must ensure that you/your companion are healthy and fit enough to take the prize.  You/your companion must follow (and you must ensure your companion follows) all requirements of the people responsible for managing the relevant activity/ies. 
    6. If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions materially, including if you are unable to take the prize on the relevant dates, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded.  The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's reasonable satisfaction the validity of your entries and/or verifying your identity (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment).  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights. 
    7. You must not:
    8. tamper with the entry process (including but not limited to manipulating the system via bots, script use, or any other means to circumvent the entry process);
    9. engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
    10. act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
    11. do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter, Zuffa or any of their related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
    12. breach any law; or
    13. behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate. 
    14. If you win the prize, you are responsible for your companion and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or your companion if they materially breach these Terms and Conditions, whether or not legally bound by them.
    15. If you or your companion in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter, Zuffa or any of their related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, or is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you and your companion from participating in any elements of  the prize, at its discretion. 
    16. The Released Parties are not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted for reasons outside the Released Parties' reasonable control.
    17. If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time.  In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
    18. The prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash.  Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement.  The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST.  The Released Parties are not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
    19. By entering, you request that your full address not be published. 
    20. If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, government directive, a pandemic, public health orders and the like, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities. 
    21. The Released Parties are not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize.  You should seek independent financial advice.  If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

    Liability

    1. You may have consumer rights under statute including under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), which may be relevant to any issue or problem you encounter in relation to this competition and cannot be excluded or restricted.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts those rights. See www.accc.gov.au for more information about those rights.
    2. Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter, and Zuffa and each of their affiliates, officers, directors, accountants, attorneys and agents, and the agencies and companies associated with this competition (the Released Parties) are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law). 

     

    1. Without limiting the previous paragraphs, the Released Parties and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of or damage to, or delay in delivery of, prizes, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prizes (where relevant) due to circumstances beyond the Released Parties’ reasonable control. Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
    2. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using social media platforms, including Facebook or Instagram.  However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook or Instagram.  You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform.  You completely release any relevant social media platform from any and all liability.

    Collection and use of your personal information

    1. The Promoter may collect your/your companion’s personal information (PI) directly or through its agents or contractors in order to conduct the competition, communicate with you/your companion or store data. The Promoter may, for these purposes, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, related bodies corporate service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.  Entry is conditional on providing this PI.  The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at www.monsterenergy.com/au/en/privacy-policy.  In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning you. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how you may opt out, access, update or correct your PI, how you may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles and how those complaints will be dealt with.  All entries become the property of the Promoter.  Entrants' details will be collected by Monster Energy Corporation based in California, the United States of America, for the purposes of collating the entries for the draw, however, the Promoter will not disclose your personal information to any other entity outside of Australia. 
    2. By entering this competition, you consent to the Promoter keeping your PI on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging provided that where required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Promoter includes a functional unsubscribe facility in each direct marketing communication it sends you that you may use to opt-out of any further such communications and provided that the functional unsubscribe facility complies with the Spam Regulations 2021 (Cth). By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility if they relate primarily to the conduct of this competition.
